Instruction to authors

For the conference, original papers neither presented nor published at national or international meetings are expected. Authors are required to submit a three to four maximum pages abstract of their regular papers through the ICMEM'2017 website from 15 June to 11 August (NEW DEADLINE!). All abstracts will be submitted to plagiarism detection.

Upon receipt of a submission, the author will receive an e-mail confirmation from ICMEM. Therefore, it is necessary that all authors provide a valid e-mail address and configure the related inbox to accept e-mails from icmem2017@sciencesconf.org. In the case of address change, the author must provide the new contact information to the ICMEM2017 Organizing Committee.

Notice: Accepted papers, selected through peer reviews, will be included in the conference proceedings and published with ISBN reference and indexed in several bases including ISI, Scopus, EI-Compendex, Google Scholar, …  Moreover, in a second step, an extended version of the best contributions, will be selected and published with additional results in special issues of journals in the fields of mechatronics, embedded systems, and advanced manufacturing.

Papers review process

Authors will be notified by end August 2017, of the status of their paper. Authors are required to submit Camera-Ready in September 2017. All Camera-Ready will also be submitted to CrossCheck plagiarism detection. Authors will be given a confirmation feedback after their Camera-Ready Submission. In parallel, authors shall complete an ICMEM Copyright Form, and at least one author of candidate papers must register for the conference.

By submitting an abstract for a paper, the author is accepting the condition that a candidate paper may be rejected at any time if the Program Committee determines that the author is failing to comply with ICMEM deadlines or policies, or if the Program Committee determines that the content of the paper is not of sufficient quality to merit publication in the Proceedings.

By submitting an abstract for a paper, the authors accept the condition that if the paper is ultimately accepted into the Proceedings, at least one author will be registered and attend the conference.
